Work/02

Ditto

Ditto is an AI matchmaking app for college students. I spent the summer in San Francisco working across growth, from organic content and search to building an outreach system for partnerships. Our content brought in 1,000+ signups, and I left a few systems behind that made the work faster after I was gone.

Systems

Turning Content Into a System

We were publishing enough content across Ditto’s accounts and outside creators that it became hard to remember why one video worked and another didn’t. I built a Notion system that logged each video by its hook, format, structure, and performance, then used it to compare patterns across 60+ posts.

The patterns we kept seeing became a reference for new scripts and creator briefs. Average watch-through increased 20%, while turnaround time dropped 10%.

Search

From SEO Audit to Pull Request

Only eight of Ditto’s pages were showing up in Google. The fixes weren’t especially complicated, but waiting for engineering time meant competing with product work for the same resources.

So I learned enough of the codebase to handle the implementation myself. I wrote the canonical tags, page titles, and meta descriptions, then submitted the changes through pull requests. By the end of the summer, 46 pages were indexed and monthly impressions had grown from 2,000 to 4,300.

Outreach

Automating the Work Before the Conversation

Partnership outreach ate up hours on the same work every week: finding prospects, researching them, writing outreach, and keeping track of replies. I built a Claude-powered system to handle that part of the process and pass promising responses back to me.

It worked through 500+ decision makers and booked 10 discovery calls. More importantly, it cut over 10 hours of manual work from my week while keeping the actual conversations human.

Content

Producing the Videos Myself

I scripted, filmed, and edited videos for Ditto’s accounts myself, while also writing briefs for outside creators. I kept the hooks and formats that were performing in a Notion log and used those patterns as a reference when developing new concepts.
