Event Marketing

Reaching newcomer students on campuses across the country with no budget for it and nobody on the ground.

• Designed a campus ambassador program from scratch across six universities.
• Recruited for lived experience rather than follower count. I went to ethnic and cultural student societies, international student associations, club and student union executives, orientation leaders and peer mentors, residence advisors, and students already making content about campus life.
• The strongest ambassadors were people who had made the move themselves, or who were already the person their community came to with questions.
• Managed 17 ambassadors who created UGC and hosted six campus events.

Enactus SFU's flagship event needed an audience and industry credibility in the same room.

• Coordinated 'Forward Vision' in partnership with Microsoft.
• Hosted 100+ attendees and 40+ industry professionals.
• Earned SFU Beedie's 2024 Event of the Year.

Enterprise's Management Trainee Program needed applicants from SFU, and students needed a reason to look at it.

• Led a campus recruitment campaign reaching 1,000+ students through classroom presentations and a booth activation.
• Implemented project management methodology with timeline, risk mitigation, and success metrics.
